Default Power Commander -or- Screamin Eagle Tuner ?

Just picked up a new 2011 ultra limited with the 103" motor

All my other bikes i normally opted for the Power Commander..... My mechanic buddy was telling me i should go with the screamin eagle tuner on this one

What do you guys think?
its around $400 so i figured i should ask some questions 1st - that seems like a lot of coin

- i'm going to install a NESS big sucker stage I, and a rinehart true duals once i figure out shich computer to buy

None of the above - Power Vision! Buy it from Jamie at Fuelmoto, get a map for your setup already on the device. Free lifetime maps from Jamie.

The Power Commander approach is outdated, IMHO - At this point I would never go with a piggy-back system. The Power Vision is a flash tuner, so flash your bike and ride, no goofy appendages required to be on your bike (although you can keep it on to monitor in real time, or log your engine's performance, but strictly optional and most dont bother).

The SE Tuner is roughly the same price as a power vision, but then you have to pay someone to dyno tune the bike - another $3-500, and you are relying on the skill of the tuner to get a good tune.

Jamie's maps are the result of many dyno tunes and adjustments, so you can just skip that part and get a map from him, no additional cost.

We the above posters disagree. Please list the advantages of the PCV over the Power Vision (there are none in my opinion, but curious to hear what you come up with). Unless you really meant to type PV.

Cobra FI2000 are available for $459. I have one on my 2012 103" Blackline, and just got a second for my 09 103" Street Glide. Plug-n-play. Perfect a/f all the time more than 80x a second. No dyno, no hassles.

+3. The only other tuner I would consider is the TTS. I've had both and PV wins with ease of use and great map support.

FM is awesome. Most tuners are awesome , But it is still a canned map. Bikes are different , tuners are different. A dyno is awesome. You should not be adjusting your tuner a tech and dyno should. My personal choice is SERT and a mech I trust.
