Hey MJR - Is that picture of your RG with the 2+2s from Khrome Werks? They sure look tall, more like Ape Hangers. Looking at getting the 2+2s for my 2008 FLHX, but now question it. Looks too tall for my taste. If you can, please reply so I know. Thanks.

Was anyone able to install the 2+2 sweepers and keep the stock Street Glide fairing mirrors?

I have the stock mirrors on the mine but if you ride in alot of traffic where you really use your mirrors alot I would regimens bar mounted mirrors. I get by with mine but have to take my hand off the bars to see well. I am getting ready to put monkey bars on and will switch to bar mounted mirrors.

What about the little circle mirrors they make for the corner of the mirror would those help? How tall are you?

Gathering parts to do the Sweeper 2+2 this winter to my 2011 Ultra. Do not want to start it until after my groups Polar Bear ride just in case it takes longer than expected. Asked my dealer parts guy about the #38649-08 clutch cable and he indicated they do not carry it. Are most of you ordering it through a dealer or one of the online dealers? If you do not use the HD part what is the next best alternative that looks most like stock in a good cable? I have the bars, TBW cable and trans cover gasket. Maybe Dawg will see this and respond, I saw one listing that showed the cable number as an -08A update. Probably just order online as it may be cheaper than the 11% discount I get at the dealer.

Maz, that is my Road Glide with the 2 +2's. The picture has them at the top of the arc, if it's too tall you can rotate the bars so it's lower, that will aslo put them closer to you.
I adjusted mine three or four times to get them just right. They are lower than the picture by a couple of inches. I have them set so they are about 2 inches higher than my elbows when sitting with my shoulders relaxed.

I never liked the standard short stem mirrors so I changed those out.

An alternative to the Harley extended clutch cable is the Drag Specialties +4 clutch cable. It is part # 19-05326. Dennis Kirk is one source. I am using it with my 2+2's. Didn't change anything else (including not changing the TBW).

I'm thinking about the Sweeper 2+2 bars for my 2012 ultra. Did you install them on your ultra and how do you like them. I often get pain between my shoulder blades from the stock bars. When I'm out on the highway I find myself hanging onto the outer ends on the grips so I'm thinking the extra width would be a good think. Can you post a couple pics of yours if you installed them. Thanks

I'm thinking about the Sweeper 2+2 bars for my 2011 SG.

When I'm out on the highway I find myself hanging onto the outer ends on the grips, too. At 6'1", with a long upper torso, I'm thinking that the extra rise and pullback would be a welcome relief!

It would be great if you guys with the Khrome Werks Sweepers could post sideviews with you on the bike. The perspective would be very helpful to us.

fenderguy,
I'm thinking about putting the 2+2's on my new 09 street glide also. I had the +2's on my 08 that I just sold. I would like to here from others who have these bars and get their opinions.
