Put new 2+2 Sweepers on my '09 Road Glide today. I bought a +4 clutch cable based on the reviews I was reading, but didn't need it. All stock wires/lines/cables worked fine with a little re-routing. Based on the ride I took tonight, I think these will work a lot better than stock. You can get away with adjusting it back or forward about 7" depending on your style of riding; arms bent/laid back or arms stretched out.
I'm really liking the idea of these bars. I want more pullback mainly. Thinking the +2 would do the trick. I want to see more pics of them on a batwing first though. all I've seen so far have been the +2 +2's ......
diggin this thread up again, I read through the whole thread this time and thanks to you guys I feel pretty confident the 2 + 2's will do it. I'm off to order them now. ;-) Lot's of talk of them being too wide. Anybody cut them a little shorter?

I would go with the +2 sweepers not the 2+2.The +2 sweepers are good looking comfortable bars and they wont put your hands above the fairing like the 2+2 bars do.Kind of defeats the purpose of the fairing if your hands are above it and the wind will be blowing up your sleeves.

I did order the +2 +2's I like to lean back quite a bit while riding so I plan to have them rotated towards me more than up. I hope they are not too high. I'll find out tomorrow. ;-)
I'm running the KW 2+2 on a 2011 Ultra Limited. If it matters I'm 6'2 with a 35 inch sleeve length riding on a seat that is positioned 1" back from stock. The width took a little getting used to at slow speeds but after riding with it a year I do not notice width until doing a full lock turn in tight spaces. I have mine rotated as far up as they will go without hitting inner fairing and they are still not over the fairing. Like the riding position but my only complaint is their curvature shape does not fit the inner fairing as good as other brands which make them look further back than they really are. Guess my grips are approx 12" from fairing. I went ahead and left wiring external but replaced the TBW with the SE unit and went with a +4" clutch cable from Magnum. Remaining wiring fit fine. The front brake line was tight but still fit OK. I pulled the radio and ignition switch console to access the handlebar bolts without taking the inner fairing off. It did require use of a set of long reach round head allen sockets. I was able to get the clutch / trans side cover off with only removing the exhaust heat shields due to my bike having the FM 2-1-2 head pipe. Stock head pipe collector is a bit larger and may require you to pull the head pipe to get trans side cover off.

Better install and position them the way you want first, before thinking about cutting the ends off. My +2s are about in the middle of the range of travel, and my clutch and brake banjo bolts hit the bend in the bars, had to go to low profile banjos to get clearance. I like the wider bars, they feel more comfortable and relaxed to me, also more leverage for easier turning.
Hey All, just ordered the KW 2+2. Been looking at a whole lot of different bars. Really like the looks of the Fred Kodlin, but the KW seem like a better fit. Read the post by Spur56, which is about the same size as I, and realized that the are the right Bars. As for the Clutch Cable have looked at many brands, and read many post as to not needed and needed, along with Twist Grip Sensor. Are both really needed or is it just easier to install? Later-
