Default Fairing Trim?

My Painter is doing my inner and a few other things as we speak, i havent been real impressed with the stock trim that seperates the inner and outer fairing its peeling back up at the top


what are you guys using as a replacement, ive read where some are getting trim from the auto parts store but thats all that was said..

take a look at this stuff: http://www.xcycletrim.com/

i use it on my windshield. stays put without using glue, and looks a lot better than the stock windshield rubber. a lot of folks use it between the inner and outer fairing, but it looks too big to me for that. but i'm told, not. haven't seen it in person though.

some guys use door-edge guards, I saw one guy had used red reflective door edge guard on a red hot sunglo bike, It kinda blended in the day, but I saw it at night and it really caught my eye.

He had the same trim on his air cleaner cover

i saw someone post the xtrim it looks awful thick to me for the fairing. has anyone used it ?

anyone else have something they have used?

I bought the Xtrim. I haven't installed it yet, but I did take it out and put it on just to see how it was. I like it. This stuff might be my only function over form mod LOL
