Ok so can some of you guys n gals answer some questions and post some info please. Can you name what slip ons you have and rate them on sound and performance. If stock exhaust is a 4 and open pipes are a 10 what number is your slip ons and what did you get performance wise. THANKS!
Thunder headers. They're loud as hell and I love them. Hard to answer the performance question because I added them along with freedom performance true duals, but the whole setup really woke up my 103". I have never been disappointed in the purchase. My neighbors on the other hand...
V and H split ovals. Great sound. I did a 103 build so it's hard to tell about the performance. From what others tell me, they noticed a difference when the put on a set of V and H slip ons.
they are user adjustable- so the user can choose how loud they want to be ( and with snuf r nots end caps they can be adjusted with the spin of an allen wrench from open to closed
performance wise either gains of torque ( generally the 3,4,5 settings) and 9,10,11 settings will get you horsepower.
these are a tunable exhaust system where gas direction and velocity is controlled as are pulse waves.
( the screaming eagle fatshotz and nightsticks are very similar and can be tuned much the same- they are made by supertrapp and all the access disk and end caps kits swap over)

Black Vance and Hines Widow Makers. I would rate them a 6 for loudness. I like them a lot, good performance and my ears dont ring like they did when I used to have straight pipes.
i have 4'' rush and i stripped the packing off and cut the baffles down a good bit and pretty happy with the sound and hard to tell wiht performance because i did it with the intake and programmer
SE FatShotz for me. Sound is a little louder than stock (5 or 6 on your scale), and a modest performance boost with the SE Intake and Stage 1 Download. Very pleased.
I mounted a set of slip-ons from a CVO Road Glide. I was hoping for more of a throaty sound like a stock 110 has. Unfortunately, the difference between a stock 110 and my stock 96 engine didn't produce the sound I was looking for. I don't like real loud exhaust but also don't like the sound of a completely stock exhaust either.
