Got ya both beat, I retired Jan 4, 2010. Met ***** at many events in the past. Him and his wife were always friendly and personable, easy to approach. Sorry to see him go but he did his tour.
Now maybe HD will sell some helmets in other colors than black or flat black and have jackets in high viz green or orange.
Black leather with a willie G skull looks cool in the store but not on a friend getting loaded in an ambulance because the car drivers didn't notice him.
Trouble with that Orangevette is that the stuff should sell but doesn't sell well at the dealerships. It does improve rider safety but it seems more Harley folks are interested in cool over safety. I'm glad to see more Orange clothing stuff at the dealers. I have this weird orange and black thing goin...........
