I had mine installed before I picked up the bike. I got 20% off lights & install that way. I recently added the visor rings to mine & love the way they look.

The sliders were in a kit that contains all you need for chrome
uppers and lowers.I am very lucky.I have friends that
just seem to know how to do this stuff.
It took us a full day to put the passing lamps on,then
use the lowering kit and the chrome kit for the frount.
The hardest part was the seals and the cap at the top.
Glad we had acess to tools to do this job

Just an fyi Charlotte HD wants 2 hours labor for the lamps ($150). Sounds like that is reasonable.

2 hours is reasonable but I did it myself in about 2 hours and I'm no mechanic. Throw the HD instructions away andfollow the directions on the thread link below.

Agreed. My crappy local dealers never have service manuals in stock it seems. I figured I'd try installing the lamps myself without the service manual. Looked at the HD instructions and realized half of the steps all say to refer to the service manual. I used the exact instructions above for everything and I did it pretty easy without a service manual. If there's anything in the install that's truly a pain, it's the actual putting together the lamp brackets with the lights. That takes longer than anything else. After I got done I added the frenched ring visors and it looks awesome. I took me about 4 hours or so toinstall everything allowing some time in there for just goofing off or general distractions.
