As you can see from the pics, the fit isn't perfect, but I'm happy. I like these bags too much to have gotten rid of them for the bigger set.

Looks good! I was going to go this route before I decided to glass in extensions from baddad as my father n law is a body man wanted to go that route so we could mold them around the pipes to match my fender but it was alot of work. The seam would not bother me. For the money a good pair of extended bags cost and the little space they add is just not worth it for my budget. Nice job!

Yeah I have to say they do look to be a different color, The pearl seems to be off or it pops different laying on metal, too bad you could not have had piece of metal welded in to make it look like it continued to fender. If you are happy that's all that matters. I just fought with straightening out my bags and still have to tweak one side a bit. Not many notice it. But I point it out to everyone LOL

Looks good Joe! The guy I saw that had that Cyclesmiths set said he "leaned" on the extension while screwing it tight to get rid of some of the gaps. Might be worth a try. Anyways, looks good!
