I did 4400 mile trip on double memory foam MCC seat so you should be good there. If you don't already have one highly recommend rider backrest that's adjustable.

I didn't want to get into details, but the double memory foam is great, but my *** still sweats.
I've never tried the sheep skin, but I do use the HD Circular pad and it works well.
I also wear compression shorts which works really well with the Circular pad.
I am all about my beadrider. Best $40 I ever spent. I did a 3K week last year and never once complaint about my ****. Best part is A thousand NYC Cab drivers can't be wrong
+2 on the beadrider! Wife & I both have them- Keeps everything cool, dry, etc. Good in rain (water goes under it) lets air circulate under keeping the jewels cool-(when your **** gets hot, that's when you start to squirm, then monkey butt sets in) this product works! When you first sit on it, seems like you're sitting on a gravel driveway, but just a little wiggle settles all the nooks and crannies into a nice place..Try it! Works for me.

anyone have feedback using the air Hawk seat ? its quite costly though...
I bought/used one last year on a long ride. I had too much air in it and managed to send the family jewels to sleep. That isn't a very good feeling for a long time afterwards. Haven't used it since.
