Default HD - windsplitter

I was wondering if anyone has tried the HD windsplitter 4.5 windshield on a flhx yet. My question is was it a improvement over the stock one. I like the looks but don't want to go with a taller one.

Thanks

I'd recommend looking at other windshields, LRS, perhaps KlockWerks. Properly measured they do a better job. Search the forums.

I have a 7 inch wind splitter and was dissappointed, too much buffeting. I'm 5'9, 32 inch inseam.

If it's looks you care about, then just get what you want. It won't help your wind problem.

I'm 5'6" and have the 7" wind splitter on my SG... works well for me.

the stock is 4" 4.5 is not much different. Like was stated above, kockwerks or lrs. I just got 8" lrs and it is great. Also at $80, you can 2 for the price of 1 windsplitter.
