Since I incorporated the Redline oil and AIM billet pressure plate changes @ the same time, I've no comparison as to which change made the most difference, but it's a 100% improvement over what I was dealing with prior to making those changes. I also had a minor clutch adjustment that may have also helped. I removed the heel shifter on day one having been a sportbike guy for so many years prior, and I went back to using my old riding boots as they gave me better feel and "muscle memory" when shifting. The bike now has approx. 4000 miles on it and I think the close tolerance components in the tranny have loosened up a bit. Finding neutral has never been easier and the bike shifts flawlessly. It's what worked for me, and out-of-pocket expenses were approx. $125 dollars.

In addition to redline (which I believed did help) I noticed when I switched my shift rod from tie rod ends to heim joint ends it also gave me a more tactile feel if you will. I originally changed shift arm/ends because of crap finish on stock rod.

I too, agree on changing out the stock shift rod. The heim joints are much tighter. It's what fixed alot of the slop in my old shovelhead, and would be a great addition to the Street Glide. Got the catalog open right now....
