I'm running a VPC & HD 380 spring on my 120R and I wouldn't be able to ride more than 20 minutes without it.

Would you get any benefit from putting this on a 103 with intake, exhaust and computer upgrades? Or is this just for higher HP/TQ applications? Thanks

Sounds like it just needs a good adjustment.

if your clutch isn't slipping now you don't need it nor will you receive any benefit from it. after my build my clutch was slipping in 3, 4, & 5. I installed the AIM VPC (20 minutes) and never had any slipping since.

2007 Road King 103 kit,10.5 to 1 stroker pistons ,CNC ported and polished Heads with 190 in valves, 165 exh. 255 SE cams, SEAC air with zippers filter. And a 29.95 SE clutch spring no slip. Didnt like all that stuff spinning in primary (AIM VPC clutch) But i not a expert on that. Do all my own work in my man cave HA HA.

I put one on my bike this winter. I also added a Barnett heavy diaphragm spring, so my clutch pull is stiffer than stock. No problem with clutch slipping with my stout 107 motor. It's an easy install. I had my primary apart, so didn't go through the derby cover, but that wouldn't have been any more difficult.

I had my primary cover off to remove the hd spring when I did my AIM install. After the install with the AIM/stock spring, I thought the pull was kinda "wonky". I removed cable slack/screwed the adjuster out both 1/2 and 3/4 turn and settled on 3/4. Compared to the hd spring, the stock spring/AIM combo has an incredibily easy lever pull. At the advise of Jamie Long, I stayed with the stock spring as he said this combo has no problems holding his 130hp personal bike....
