Nitrous works fine if the motor is set up for it.

A quality kit runs about $1200.00 The Edelbrock kit also has a RPM switch that will not allow engagement below 4200 RPM. This should save accidental engagement. Be conservative, don't go to big on the nitrous shot. The Edelbrock kit is rated at 30 H.P. You can add to stock motor according to Edelbrock, but I wouldn't. Another benefitt is that the motor does not have to be retuned if already tuned on dyno for it will not affect your settings. It's "plug and play".

When you are putting in your 3:37 gears you can install the crank support at the same time, no extra labor involved to speak of.
very good kit and advice from HP & Jeep....nitrous will not blow your motor....your greedy azz will tho...theres a window of tune for nitrous just like anything else...what most folks dont understand is it's not as forgiving as they might hope...the edelbrock kit is top notch for bikes....rule of thumb on juice, retard the timing for every 100hp shot by 3deg...run forged pistons with a thick deck and top ring land down at least .250".....have a good bottom end...solder all wires and do not crimp...start with what your kit recommends and read the plugs with each change...then, only change one thing at a time...theres more but whats here will get the novice started

What effect would a larger throttle body have on my current build?
What companies offer a larger throttle body for an '05 touring, at the best bang-4-buck?
Can cruise control still be used with them?
Is a larger throttle body worth it on a mild build like mine?
Lots of questions all at once, and more to come I'm sure.

Another way to look at this, when GM was using dual bladed TBs in Corvettes from 85 - 96, they were each 45mm, if I recall, and were considered more then enough for the 96 330 HP LT4 engine unless radically modified, why would a Harley need a larger one?
Steve, I checked around about a bigger TB when I was researching for my build & came to the same conclusion you have. Looks like you're just gonna have to bite the bullet & go all out w/the HQ 98" build that Phil has. Then you'llbe able to make use of a new TB.
I went with a Zippers 54mm Thundermax TB & manifold for my 124 TC-B build. Course I'm using the S&S 124" Hotkit with 640 lift cams and Super Stock heads. Looking into a NOS systembecause I'm a firm believer that there's no kill like overkill!
Hey Steve... I think that S/E 50mm is for 06 & later bikes. It is not easily adaptable to pre-06 bikes as all the sensors are different. Could be wrong, or there could be another one I have not found.... but what I've seen is not a match.
