Default Spitting and cutting out
1998 ultra classic, just purchased used about 4 months ago. Went on a 800 mile round trip and started having problems in the last 100 miles. It did get me home, checked some of the basics, wires, plugs and they seem okay. Does anyone have any ideas?

EFI or carb? Crank position sensor going bad possibly.

check battery cables- they can corrode inside the insulation, or the insulation can be cut or wear through, causing a momentary short on bumps.

EFI, runs good until it gets hot, starts good. But it seems like the hotter it gets the worst it gets. I will check the plug at the crank sensor, was just wondering if anyone else might have seen this before,and was going to be able to save me some troubleshooting time. Thanks for the inputs.
