Default which cam for this build

Thinking of doing the SE 95 kit with the SE 10.25 cast pistons. Would the 26g cam wotk with this setup without any ping? Also, probably going to have the heads ported so which head gasket would be best?

26 would not go good with 10.25 but,i bet hq-39g would work great with that set up.

you are talking about andrews 26g right?

I have to agree with Allen.... That's too much for Andrews 26's.

HQ Heads (setup @ 10:1), HQ-0039's, and that FatCat you've already gotshoud easilyget ya 105/105 with torque over 100 @ before 3k RPM's. If you go 10.25:1, it'd be a bit higher.... but if ya can get it @ 10:1, why?

Is most of the torque gonna be up top or more in the middle? I would prefer to go with a setup that keeps the torque down low/middle as I rarely run in the upper torque range.

check my sig. I used the 10.25 pistons, had the heads cc'd and ended up with 9.7 CR, that 112 torq. is at 3500 rpm's---runs GOOOD

suggest you log on to Latus HD site and go to the "ask/Mike" in the service dept section. There is a ton of excellent info here and he will address your question(s) directly.
