Help!! bike quit running
Help!! bike quit running
Just pulled out from stop light hit second gear bike just shut off. Got it off the road I can hear fuel pump running and it has spark but looks weak but enough to light me up. Removed PCV and tried to start no luck. Called HOG towing had someone there in 30 minutes. Got home checked all fuses all good. It was like the ignition switch was just cut off. Any ideas?? Guess now I need to see if I have signal to the injectors. Have never had 1 minute trouble out of this bike it was running great and then just quit. It turns over just fine. I'm a pretty good wrench have been Ford and GM tech for 38 years and do all my own work on the bike.

Same kinda thing happened to me when I first got my bike. It caused my pick to shut off was the alarm. I had the alarm switch in my pocket. For some reason it was getting pushed in my pocket. That caused the bike to shut off.
Think I found the problem. With the fuel cap off and turning ignition on I can hear fuel spraying in the tank. Will pull apart tomorrow. My 2008 Ultra didn't have the recall when I had the local dealer run the vin# for the fuel filter housing.
