I have a new 2012 RK Classic and put 16 inch ape's on it. I would like to check into my speaker options for quick disconnect lower fairings. I haven't been able to find anyone that makes them if you don't have a full fairing/radio. I would like to find something that doesn't go on the handle bars and that can eventually tie into rear speakers in the leather bags if I decide to add those later.
I have checked with Hogtunes and with Cycle Sound and neither one has a speaker setup that will fit a RKC lowers.
Anybody have any options for me and any pics of a RK with apes and lowers and preferably without a windshield?
Yeah. I saw that. Hogtunes said they will have something similar in a couple months. I just think the lowers might look better. Also, I would like to know if it is even possible.
if u have 07 or newer vented lowers u can use the cvo speaker housings from harley, they hold 6.5 speakers come with flat black primer easily painted.and believe it or not there a relative bargain at about 39$ apiece.u can run an amp under side cover or saddlebag and plug in iPod or portable xm.
I have seen this and yet I called these two places and they don't have kits that work. That is my confusion. I thought it would be easy but Hogtunes said that their kits won't work and I am not sure on what amp I can use so I can hook up an ipod to it. Any part numbers or links?
