I had my gun cause I'm a cop and never leave home without it.
As for the helmet issue I like the wind, only wear them when I have to or if I'm riding with my kids.
Bike has scrape marks on engine and bag guards only no where else. worse case scenario Engine Guard $185 and Right Bag Guard $70. Did rip my favorite Harley shirt where it covered my holster and a pair of flannel lined jeans and long underwear. Very small price to pay.
Happened without any warning what so ever that was the worst part. Bolt blended right into the asphalt. One second looking forward to a great day on the bike next thing I'm watching my bike slide away.
Glad you are ok. I understand about the helmet issue, whether with or without. I have a law that says I have too. But I have also traveled to states that are not required and I have ridden without. Again, glad both of you are ok.
On another note, I have a chrome engine guard from my 2012 Street glide that needs a home.
Glad your both ok!
Dos'nt take much...i know....
How much damage on the bike? I'm thinking of getting the sattlebag guards or my UL, for cases like that
I have the full saddlebag guards off my 09 UC that will fit 09 and up I'll sell you, $75 shipped
I'm glad you're both OK. Not trying to start anything, but I'm curious why you were wearing a gun to a charity event?
Well, that's not directed at me, but I'll give you one answer anyway.....it's the world we live in. Doesn't matter much where you are or where you go, there is always the off chance that someone there won't be feeling so "charitable". Wearing a gun isn't "intent", it's "insurance".
