ThAt sucks. I am glad you are ok. I wrecked at 35 mph and have been a helmet/good boot guy ever since. Stuff happens so fast on a bike.

You had a wake-up call, Bro! When I went down on mine three years ago, the first thing the EMT said to me was "Thank you for wearing a helmet." He was a biker as well and he said after seeing what wreaks do to heads without helmets, he would never ride without one. Glad you and your lady weren't hurt seriously, but do yourself and her a favor and start wearing a helmet!

Glad you guys are ok. In California we don't have the choice on helmets which does suck. I however would wear one anyway. I had a bad accident that left deep gouges on my helmet awhile back and shattered my elbow into 14 fragments. Elbow healed ( with surgury)and headache went away. Wouldn't have without a helmet. Be safe out there and ride on.

Glad you are ok. Hope the gun was not damaged too awful bad in the slide. Did you have lead in the pipe?

Glad to hear you two are ok. I latex mine down earlier this spring. Crosswalk paint and sand don't mix well. I had no helmet and no jacket. Got some road rash on my forearm but my steel toed boots saved my foot from injury. I think anywhere is fine to carry if your licensed to do so. People who don't like thier own lives, let alone yours are ubundant in this world.
