As pointed out above just about every unit on the market will flow more than your motor can ever use.
The ness will run about $120 shipped on ebay from easternpc.
The ness has a chrome ( not cast grey) backing plate which complements the motor- esp. where it attaches to the heads.
the ness also comes with a washable oiled filter ( like K&N, but not K&N brand)
the ness also installs easier as the throttle body mounting bracket stays in place unlike the HD.
...and uses the football cover- the football cover hides the ugly plastic plug and wiring at 9 o'clock as you look at the throttle body.
Some other air cleaners leave that exposed- the photos above are of an earlier model which has a different throttle body, have a look at yours and decide if you want that exposed
A lot of great info. You didn't make it any easier. Lol. Any fans of the 90 degree with the big filter? I like that but im wondering if that's too big.

HD sells a chrome (with black alternative perhaps???) shroud for all that stuff. One is on my scoot, and they hide everything nicely.
I have the se "90 degree with the exposed filter" I love it! No oil leaks changing the filter and the pipe woke the bike up! If I did it again I'd buy the same filter and MAYBE a D&D pipe!
I have been impressed with this one. It is a RSD clarity which is essentially the same as a performance machine only cooler lol.
That does look pretty cool, although RSD is a bit more money than performance machine. I like how the relatively small round design is balanced between the front and rear cylinder, more asteticly pleasing in my eyes.

I agree they are a little spendy but I got it for $400 shipped from DHP never thought I would spend that kind of money on an a/c but.........
