if you upgrade the filter you are going to have to do a stage 1 d/l or a tuner of some sort. also the only thing you have to worry about with an open air cleaner is riding in the rain and having the filter element get wet. other than that i love mine. i have the v&h pro pipe 2-1 with s/e a/c and a power vision from fm.

I have done many hours in down pours and never had an issue.

I had the Arlen Ness Big Sucker in the past. Great performance but didn't want the football cover or "Harley Canned Ham" look so I went with Street Visions Mo Flow. Looks great!!

I'm a big fan off the classic S&S Teardrop air cleaner. Timeless looks and they'll flow all you'll ever need

Default tune?

Obviously to maximize performance I will need to get a dyno tune after installation of a performance air cleaner. How long do you think i can get away riding before getting a tune? Gotta buy some patience too. Lol.
