Question Performance air cleaners

I'm getting ready to buy one but not sure which one. How is the k&n setup? That's the one with the 90 degree elbow I believe. Or should I go with a big sucker stage 1 or stage 2? I have an 09 street glide with true duals. 555 cams in the near future. I'm asking for real world experiences. Is anyone of these significantly better than the other?

TIA,
Mj

I've had great luck with my hd heavybreather. As stated above, personal preference plays a role.

They will all flow more air than your motor will ever need or use. Choose based on looks and price. Only you can know what order those should be in as far as priority.

I use the SE backing plate with a K & N filter and the stock football cover because I like the look. But that's me.

I was in the same situation, started researching and didn't find a whole lot of difference between the Screaming Eagle and Big Sucker. So I started watching ebay and found a used Screaming Eagle complete package that was slightly used. I bought it and reused the football cover(looking for something I like). I also installed a Power Commander tuner, I have Andrews 26 cams and so far I really like it. I installed a map from Dynojet and a member on here sent me one he used. I had it checked out by FuelMoto and will be downloading it tomorrow or Monday. Really, it is personal preference and what what your budget allows. I watched ebay and the HDF classifieds for over a year. Was getting ready to buy one for 110.00 shipped off ebay, when I found the one I bought.

I think the Ness controls the oil spray better than SE or most others.

I put the K&N AirCharger on my '11 Road Glide Custom basically for the looks. Was a bit skeptical on their claim of 12 hp gain. Wow, I reallly felt the difference and I loved the sound of that huge low wheeze when you got on it. My best price was at Amazon.com with no tax and no shipping and at my doorstep in 3 days.
