So I just got done wrestling on a new pair of braided fuel lines for my 99 road king fuel injected, slapped on the tank, filled her up, turned the ignition and....."click-click" coming from wiring "bundle" behind battery. My crappy voltmeter says battery is good and before waiting a few days for parts, was my daily commuter (and more!) So?? What they heck did I do?? Checked terminals, double checked nuetral...even put it in gear and tried to get the motor moving with a push??? I dunno...without the manual (next paycheck purchase) I am pretty lost. Are those "bundles" fuses?? that would make sense, but is it coincidence it blew?? Or did I screw something up, or pinch down a wire while reinstalling tank?? I can hear the fuel pump kicking on when I push the starter and even gave the starter the ol' technical tap!! Any help is well appreciated!!
spending more time gettin to know the bike...
the bundles are plugs that both connect to a little black box (fuse) i am assuming...could that be the problem?? In listening to the click..I can't tell if it is the area below and behind the battery (under the wiring bundle I am referring to above)...threw a trickle charger on it as well.

Reason: update
Anytime I hear the "click, click" sounds the first thing that comes to my mind is the battery.
Either check the battery (if you have the means) or use a jumper source to give the battery enough juice to see if that is your problem.
If the battery has a good charge, the next area that I would be looking at is battery terminals, then ground(s).
Check the ground cable from the battery to the frame to be sure it is not loose.
On some models, there's a ground cable that runs to the inner primary (down near the starter) that you should check, but you may want to disconnect the battery before doing this.
Moving things around can sometimes lead to cables/wires becoming loosed or disconnected.
this am to check it out some more...pulled the trickle of the battery checked (again) all terminal connections...all lights on nice and bright, so battery?? I htink I am folllowing a ground (kinda dark here still, and it looks solid) perhaps more specific the click is faint...more, I guess, like a tick...but that only happens when I depress starter button...and it only happens once (each time I press the button) I suppose something came "unplugged" as it really does not make sense (or just some unlucky coincidence for something else!) I'll get on the wiring when the sun comes up!! thanks!
