Default How Many Have???

How many don't carry their Harley factory supplied tool roll? I opened up the tool roll for only the scond time since I purchaed the bike and with the exception of a spark plug wrench, there is nothing there that my much smaller and very light Cruz Folding Outbacker tool doesn't have. I'm thinking of sending the much heavier and mostly in the way Harley supplied Tool roll to the bottom drawer of my tool box. I even have a little leather belt pouch for the Cruz tool. Anybody else do the same?

You didn't get a tool kit with your bike?

Beginning to think the same way. In 27K miles I have only needed a tool while on the road once. Had a mounting bracket come loose on my saddlebag and was able to use the supplied wrench to tighten. Not being a mechanic or having much ability anyway, the tools are pretty much of no value to me. Of course if I jettison the tool kit I am sure I will need it the next ride out, LOL!

I think tool kits coming with bikes is a more recent phenomena. My friends with '03s '06's and '07s didn't get one. But I would have to check with my friends with newer models.

Mine has one. But I bought it used so maybe the previous owner put it in there. I keep mine on the bike, it's not like it takes up a whole saddlebag or anything. I've only used it once to pry my quick disconnect tour pack latch off my saddlebag latch but it's nice to know I have something to fix most things.

I don't have a factory kit, but I do always carry a tool bag. The first time that you don't ride with it is the next time you'll need it...

Didn't receive one with the bike but looked at some out there and then put one together in a leather pouch that I carry in my saddle bag. Think I've only used the screwdriver so far to open the battery cover.

Hope I don't need it on the road but wouldn't want to be caught without it if I did.
