"chirping" noise on left side

Muffler mounts spray with lube every now and then good place to start anyway.

Make sure your belt tension is good too tight or too loose and it will chirp as well

too loose a belt will chirp on deceleration, the outside of the belt will contact the inner primary above the front pulley, causing a chirp.

more common on lowered bikes.

Muffler mounts are usually the prob. Other item to check is the mount clip for bag quick disconnect. Friend had one broke and it emitted a squeek at different rpms. Hard to find. Just lucky and saw bag move.

I had a chirp on my 2002 road king turns out it was my drive belt hope this helps

I found that my noise was coming from the rubber bumper on the rear brake caliper mount squeaking on the swing arm. I tried soooooo many things until I found this by accident when doing a tire change. I dabbed a bit of bearing grease on the rubber bumper, and it went away.

When I was searching for the cause of mine, I found that most here were from the exhaust hangers. They are only $2 or so, try replacing them first.
