"chirping" noise on left side

Default "chirping" noise on left side
On a 2009 Ultra with 49,000 miles,I have this chirping noise coming from the left side,usually between 2 and 3000 rpms while not on the gas.Dealer has replaced 2 crossover clamps due to a small gap at the connections.Noise still persists.

Might be loose baffle inside pipe. What pipes are you running? Check rear muffler hanger too by moving pipe up down forward and back.

mine did that only after a pretty long ride and the bike was hot. after an extensive nut and bolt check i still had the problem. i ended up shooting a little lube on the muffler hangers and it fixed the problem.

Are you running Rinehart's? Maybe you're hearing the (in)famous Rinehart "chirp"? Happens when you ride over concrete usually, although I've heard it when riding on other surfaces as well.

I have vance and hines ovals on my 07 road king and I have that squeeking sound from the left pipe at idle. Drove me crazy. I think it's from the pipe hanger and rubber dampener rubbing together.

Probably your top front motor mount.

Simple fix;
Remove two screws
Submerge in oil and work in
Dry excess oil and install

I have the same problem and same diagnosis. Is this an easily replaced item?

Try a little spray silicon on the rubber bushing on the muffler mounts under the bags . . . You may be pleasantly surprised!

Probably muffler mounts. Happens to mine from time to time.
