What are those green ant looking things with wings they have in Tennessee? I rode through a swarm of them last weekend. I don't know if they sting or bite but it has a pretty good burn to it. The best part is, an hour afterward you find there are still some in your shirt or up you pant leg. A burn that keeps on burning.
This **** is too funny!
I was at Delmarva Bike Week last year was going out to eat with the GF. Got nailed in the chest by a bug the size of grape. Hurt like hell, but the worst part was the big nasty stain on my white t shirt.
This weekend, the GF got a bumblebee up her jeans leg.
**** happens.
I got used to a full face helmet when I was into road racing cars. I'd never go back to an open face helmet. Every time I hear "whack" on my face shield I grin.
Been lucky so far here of late, but back in the 80's I rode shorts on my Honda. I split a bumblebee with my mirror stem and the a$$ end stung me on the top of my leg. Hurt like hell and swelled up the size of an egg.
