i just did the fullsac kit- the install was painless (with 2 people) and while i dont have a sert/pc3 yet (or even a 'download') mine runs great as it is.
Installed the fullsac on my 07 EG standard and am very pleased with performance and sound. The ONLY thing negative is lining up the heat shields when reinstalling them. Takes some time but worth it. Would do it again immediately, lowered the heat so it is more comfortable to ride. Great Product....
I did a fullsac kit with se a/c se pro muffs and hd download and it runs good,(did make it louder though)but I am going back to get it dynoed next week to see if there was any gains or not. I will compare it to my last dyno.I am also going to install the sert after that, and see what kind of numbers we get.
im very curious to see if you lost power when you removed the crossover pipe....people that ive talked to, say you will and thats why im hesitant to do it.....its good to hear that you are not feeling it... this is from the nightrider site.....
"The difference in power between Dressers and Dyna/Softails is due to the exhaust system. FLH's have a very large volume in the exhaust system which allows the exhaust to fill this space while the noise is being dampened prior to exiting the mufflers. This shows the benefits of a crossover in the exhaust and having larger mufflers. While few riders are willing to put FLH sized mufflers on their Dyna or Softail, it does show the effectiveness of the FLH exhaust in streetable engine combinations."
