New guy checking in...
Hey, everyone, just wanted to take a minute and check in. New to the forum, and to H-D's. Just bought my first H-D two weeks ago, and loving it. It's the fourth bike I've owned (1986 Honda Shadow 700cc, 2004 Yamaha YZF-R1 1,000cc sport bike, and 2007 Yamaha V-Star 1100cc Silverado came before it).
I have wanted to trade up to a Harley for years and years now. I rented a Softail Custom for a weekend a few years back on vacation, and after finally getting an opportunity to actually ride a Harley, I just knew I had to get one. So about 5 years ago, I test drove a Twin Cam 96 Street Glide. I fell in love with it, but it just wasn't the right time for me to buy one. Ever since, I have had my heart set on a Street Glide, and I am now the proud owner of a 2012 FLHX Street Glide with the Twin Cam 103, in Big Blue Pearl paint!!
Anyway, just wanted to say hello and introduce myself. I'm sure I'll be on here quite a lot.
Pictures of the new ride! (Don't mind the busted Eclipse sitting beside it in the driveway, that's just my beater car
