I bought this kit and went to install it but I can't get the rear spring clips off either side. Now I did have the saddle support bars powder but I'm sure that they are welded. It's a 2012 RG. Anyone else experience this?

 

They're definitely tight but you can pop them off with a screw driver.
If it's still putting up a fight pry underneath and pull with some needle nose pliers.
You'll them love once they're installed.
