Should you turn off the cruse control when you are not using it? I use it every day on my commute to and from work, didn't know if it's just better to leave it on all the time.
no need to turn it off , that just sends power to the unit , you still have to engage it , but I do check all my switchs from time to time to make sure it will disengage properly in a emergency
from time to time to make sure it will disengage properly in a emergency
always remember that we have a kill switch at the right hand- that's where to go in the event of an unexpected increase in revs- rather than trying to figure it out while pointed at the guard rail
I keep mine off except when I am going to use it because I don't like looking at the red light glowing in my speedo. Plus, I have to wonder if it is a problem leaving power on to the cruise brain.
+1. I keep mine off unless of course I want to use it. It only takes a millisecond to turn on and off. Just like Icepick, the red light when it's energized but not set is distracting for me too.
