My 98 Ultra, is fuel injection, but just lately while riding she will bog down like it wants to stall, I give it a little more throttle and she comes back to life.
It does not happen all the time, but more so now.
I changed spark plugs and wires did not solve the problem.
Any infi greatly appreciated,
John
I'd suggest intake manifold gaskets.
Just had my 2000 Ultra done (I would have doneit myself but I'm not familiar with the EFI set-up.....yet).
Not a bad job if you have the proper (allen) wrench and some spare time.
Less than $10 in parts, which is about the cheapest possible remedy if you can do the work yourself.
My bike was sputtering and coughing out the a/c occassionaly.
Runs much better now.
checked connections, clean air filter, fresh gas, would fuel pump or injectors
cause trouble like this. Some days she runs perfect, no sputter just go.
