Least cost effective upgrade - New Heads, Forged High Comp Pistons, Cams and Performance Clutch added to a perfectly good running motorcycle with a very reliable stage 1 since new. Within a few months the throwout bearing flew apart leaving me to ride home with no clutch, followed by a smoked clutch, then a trashed tranny with all the mainshaft bearings beat up and the tranny case falling apart at the mainshaft bearing, followed by the final drive belt pulled in 1/2 and finally spinning every other spoke out 2 or 3 threads and riding home with a wobbly rear wheel. Anyway worked through all the weak links and replaced the spoke with a cast wheel and everything seems to be OK now.
I bought it and love it. It definitely isn't a necessity, but it was cheap and does what it was designed to do. But then any thread like this is going to contain all opinion. And that's cool.
In my eagerness to go LED I bought a set of front and rear LED indicators (turn signals) Coming home I realised the here in the UK amber is the only colour allowed. I now run a risk of a fine and have the yearly bother of having to change back to stock for the annual MOT (vehicle test)

Harley branded touring seat for my last bike (FLSTF). Pricey but not really much better than the stock seat. Should've went mustang vintage solo right out of the gate.
