Can't say enough about the Fox Creek Leather products, they're all awesome -- jackets, chaps, gloves. They'll product you when you need it and they stand by their products, plus they're made in America, as all things should be.
And so few things are..........[sm=americanasmiley.gif]

One more for the Foxcreek. The box said 13lbs when it arrived and after taking it out of the box most of that 13lbs is in the jacket. I had to add air to the shocks. I'm very satisfied with the product, the customer service, and the fact that they are in VA, of the US of A.. Might make a good ride to see them some day.

I have to second that assessment. I have pants and jacket from Fox creek leather and they are the best i have ever seen looks and protection and for a reasonable price. Great rep,

Another Fox Creek wearer here. Heavy tough durable. Made in the USA. Nothing bad about any other brand.

Ordered a Fox Creek Classic II for trial sizing, almost didn't send it back the thing was beautiful. Heavy as heck and best quality I've ever seen. Just didn't fir quite right so I sent it back and ordered one with my sizing. Their customer service is incredible and so helpful.
The new Classic II should be here in 6 weeks, I'll post up info and pics when it arrives.

Here's my leather jacket http://www.mmccleather.com/catalog/m...asp?pid=M10062I've seen a lot of leather posts but never see anyone mention thses folks. I found it at a local indy shop and it was the best fit of endless jackets I had tries on, and talk about heavy leather! It has a liner that I only put in below 40 which isn't a lot in Florida and it is vented for the days that start around 50 and get to low 70s. I have had it for 3 years now with zero problems and it look great if you like the classic style, but they do have more styles too. The hard time I had with fit is I have very broad shoulders and rather long arms which make even motorcycle specific clothes a challenage even though they have longer sleeves.

I just picked up a perferated leather from HD for $270. It is designed to ride in warm or coolweather. It is very heavy duty. I wear this jacket, every day even when not riding. The accordin sides are a great feature. No adjusting ever needed.

...and while it has no armor, the jacket I went with (vented bomber seen here)has provisions for armor in the shoulders, elbows and back.
Hey GreighWolf can you pleasegive a little more detailon the provisions provided? I just received my Commander jacket from Fox Creek and I want to add armor to the jacket but not sure how I'm going to do it yet. You mention provisions provided and I'm curious, is it just enough space to add the armor in the key areas or are there actually pockets already in place on the Bomber to put armor into?

By the way, another vote for Fox Creek. They don't do armour but the price, customer service and quality are awesome.I got my jacket and vest two days ago.
