I have worn a one of those $100.00 jackets, made in Pakistan, out of "some kind" of leather, for the last three years now. Its warm,(zip out liner) very heavy duty, including the zippers, all the zippers, snaps, etc are brass instead of the shiny nickel crap, and it fits good and is very functional (including a "pistol pocket". Granted it may not stand the test of time, but so far so good! for one "Grant", it is well worth the money. (I probably would come in last at the fashion show however.)
Just got my Highwayman HC custom made in the USA .( don't know whay you think it'nt)
the jacket may fit kinda short but it is'nt when you sit on the bike after all it is a riding jacket made by a company that has been around very long.

+1 for FXRG leather. Got mine yesterday, I talked my local dealer into giving me 25% off to price match New Roc H-D’s E-bay price.I have owned the nylon FXRG (I bought used) for over 5 years now and still love it. It’s not as warm as the leather
I rode to the Fox Creek Distribution location in Independence Virginia and tried on
several different jackets, none of the jackets I tried on fit good on me. I wanted to give Fox Creek leather a try because they are made in the USA and they get a lot of high praise on these forums. I made the right choice for my needs.

I have a Fox Creek Classic MC Jacket II.....and I also have one very nice HD leather jacket....the one with the #1 logo on the left front and just Harley-Davidson across the back in a orange stripe.....you guys know the one I am sure. Anyway....the Fox Creek is with no exaggeration about twice the weight of the MOCO product. The leather that Fox Creek uses is very thick, and the general construction of the jacket is super strong.....they are guaranteed for life they better be. It fits well, and looks good on me. The HD Jacket looks better on me, but is just not the jacket the Fox Creek is. I like the HD one though. I was thinking about buying a leather FXRG and even tried one on at the dealer the other day. Needless to say the FXRG in XXL fit me perfectly, and you can feel the quality of the leather in the FXRG....once you pick it up you know its a quality piece......but the price is very high, and Fox Creek's leathers are better quality for a bit less money than the FXRG.
In my book....if I had to do it over again.....or needed another heavy leather jacket I would go directly to Fox Creek..... They are perfect for all Winter riding....with no elect. Temps down to about 35*F-40*F. Its a heated suit at temps below that.
If I was looking for a thinish light duty leather jacket I would check out what the MOCO has to offer first.

+1 I purchased a leather jacket three years ago from Eastern Performance for less than $75. Looks & feels great after 25K miles of sun, rain, below freezing and sand storms. Zip out breathable water resistant liner.

You should check out US Wings: www.uswings.com They usually have great sales going on this time of year. They have tall sizes, and are us made--and have great customer service...
I'll be the dissenting vote on Fox Creek. While their jackets are very well made, the sizing is a little off. I'm 6' tall and weigh 185 pounds. I ordered a size 44, the size I wear in everything. It fit well through the torso, but was way too tight in the shoulders, chest and arms. They sent me a size 46. Fit well through the shoulders, chest and arms, but was way too big through the torso.
I wore each jacket twice. I really wanted it to fit. Left it hanging in the closet for 32 days before deciding to return it. Since it was more than 30 days, they charged me a restocking fee of like $80.
Just so you know, not all Fox Creek stories have a happy ending.
