I went with the Roland Sands signature series stabilizer in satin black.

So the upper engine stabilizer on my '09 does nothing to stop the rubber bushing movement?

I changed rear shocks and went to a cartridge front fork and haven't felt a wobble since. Bike corners now like on a rail. I say stabilizers are a waste of time on a properly maintained bike...... Only my opinion, and no, I've never tried one.

Graham I am very impressed! I am another one that has NOT experienced this wobble on my current 2007 Ultra, or any of my previous rides. We've had other discussions which currently are leading me down another path looking at my windshield. Would have been nice if Matt with LRS would have answered my query but thats neither here nor there when it comes to this information. I know of Kinematics but obviously not enough. Please include me in your PM's.

Thanks,
Arvid

Can you include me on your pm list please sir?
I have ran the true trac with great results before but I'm about to address this on my 2012 bike now.

What a surprise it would be if factory bikes came with some awesome front and rear shocks.
1.Innovate
2.Follow
3.Or, don't worry about it 'cause after all, old school technology is....just old.

The wobble comes from the reversed triple trees and rider input, not the rubber bushings.

If the bushings were the problem then the FXR's would have the same problem.

Guess you guys missed the lesson. He has the proper credentials to carry weight in this subject.
I've heard a lot of folks that own Dyna's say they have experienced a similar wobble.
I've never experienced the wobble either, but I'm gonna do the upgrades because I've heard many a story about dead riders that couldn't recover from it. Better safe than sorry.
