Ok guys thanks for the input...jus gonna role with it b/c when i twist the throttle and let those dogs bark...i forget all about the heat!!!!!!!

Power duals are not ceramic coated. They won't radiate any less heat than stock headers. Headers that are ceramic coated inside and out will keep most of the heat in the exhaust gas, and send it out the back of the pipe.

You could have yours coated. It won't be cheap at this stage, and most places can't coat the inside.

I think you should have room under the heat shields to put a layer of heat wrap. I used some on my old ironhead, it helped alot!

Hey, Edward...we get plenty of days in the high 90's for both temp and humidity up here....we know about heat, too, lol. Granted...Houston is a humid hell on earth all summer, and its only for a month or two up here, but I roast plenty on my bike escpecially in beach traffic!

i got the PD's... just installed Captain Itch crotch cooler and did make a big differance. i went with Kuryakan saddle wings and the are crap and broke twice on my left side.. good news is Kury refunded my money... i thought Captain;s cooler would look like crap but i tell u... like Isabelle said to me " i told u so"...

now in heavy traffice, ya right side can blow some heat to passanger ... maybe Ice pack socks will help... ride safe.
