The only Kury piece that I have is their Tour Pak Relocator. I got it 2 years ago to solve 2 problems:
1. Police bikes need the Tour Pak raised in order for the bags to open and not hit the TP
2. I needed to get my TP closer to me when riding solo and using the solo rack.
I had to make some significant mods to it but it has performed well, it looks subtle by Kury standards and it has held up well.

This weekend I am going to put the billet aluminum, triple plated chrome, Made in USA Rivco adjustable pegs. They are gorgeous and high quality. Hopefully they work properly. They are a WI company that makes their products in USA, not China.
I have the Rivco pegs.........absolutely A1....5 star .
With all the utter and useless garbage pawned off on us by ebay vendors like KC INT and Demons, I can't believe so many people are bagging on Kury. At least when you order a Kuryakyn part, theres a likely hood it will fit the bike in question. I got burned so many times with the "God knows where this came from" ebay part that I almost feel relieved when I see a Kury label. They make some gaudy stuff for sure, but good lord.... with what I subjected my poor bike to in the past to save a buck makes me happy a pie to get Kuryakyn stuff now a days.
I had kury highway pegs and floorboards on a previous bike. They offered more flexibility that harley choices and I didn't notice any lax quality standards.
I must be the only one in the world that has never had one issue with anything made by Kury - Not one speck of rust! No Issues - I have owned well over 50 motorcycles - not all of them had Kury products on them but many did - All I can say I'm 100% pleased with everything I have bought from Kury Corp..
- How so many can say what a great product Harley sell's & turn around and bash Kury is beyond me It's not any different than Kury - Are you guys blind as to where Harley Chrome & other stuff is made - Walk into any Harley dealership - Go to the shiny stuff hanging on the wall or on the Racks & see if you can find one of anything made in the USA.
- I just paid 75 bucks for a Harley light weight Jacket & the tag say "Made in Mexico" -Big surprise there - I'm not a Harley basher - I own one - I love my Harley but to run down other brands or manufactures is just foolish - this is 2012 - not 1950 - We live in a world market.
If Honda hadn't come along years ago we wouldn't have our Harley's today. Honda & Yamaha brought so many new people into the motorcycle world, they built the motorcycle market. But yet the imports get bashed everyday - I wonder how many guys here went to a Harley Dealer & bought their 1st motorcycle - I'm someone did - I just never met one but they are out there i guess- I know I went off topic but it all ties in together - Please don't bash me - just ad me to your ignor list - thanks - tom
For me it's not so much the quality of the Kuryakyn stuff but the fact that it's gaudy and ugly. I see some bikes that look like a showcase for their product catalog. Guys just throwing chrome doo dads on their bikes just because they can. No rhyme or reason, just more chrome Kurakyn thingies.
Cmon guys, ever have an original idea in your head?
I had ISO grips and some pegs on a metric bike and the chrome flaked on both. The ISO grips were comfortable but they got ugly in less than a year. My PM grips are billet not plastic and look new after 3 years. I have a Kury curved laydown license plate bracket now (they were the only folks that had them at the time) and I am not happy with the chrome. I buddy has the panacea taillight and blinkers on his heritage and one side went out on the taillight right after the warranty was up. I think certain things they have look good and other items are gaudy. I don't think their chrome is good quality so I won't purchase that from them again. I do have an ultra tour bag from them that I am very happy with.
The only thing that I ever bought from Kury was a set of Longhorn Offset Dually Pegs. Over a one year period I had them come loose on me once; every since I just make sure to check them and make sure they’re tight. I haven’t had any issues with peeling/rust. BL, the pegs do what they need to do.
The only good and practical item they've EVER made, was the small heat shield piece that connects the vertical front head pipe heat shield (at the bottom) to the lower horizontal pipe heat shield. It covers up the3" bare pipe section the factory left behind (what the hell was the MoCo thinking anyway?). That is the ONLY piece I have, and or will ever have.
I bought that piece as well then found out it looks exactly like what it is, a cheap add on cover. I found out that Harley makes a full length heat shield that looks great and should have been on from the factory. The Kury piece went to the trash.
I did add their run/turn/brake module that works fine, not gaudy since it's under the seat.
