I must be the only one in the world that has never had one issue with anything made by Kury - Not one speck of rust! No Issues - I have owned well over 50 motorcycles - not all of them had Kury products on them but many did - All I can say I'm 100% pleased with everything I have bought from Kury Corp..
- How so many can say what a great product Harley sell's & turn around and bash Kury is beyond me It's not any different than Kury - Are you guys blind as to where Harley Chrome & other stuff is made - Walk into any Harley dealership - Go to the shiny stuff hanging on the wall or on the Racks & see if you can find one of anything made in the USA.
- I just paid 75 bucks for a Harley light weight Jacket & the tag say "Made in Mexico" -Big surprise there - I'm not a Harley basher - I own one - I love my Harley but to run down other brands or manufactures is just foolish - this is 2012 - not 1950 - We live in a world market.
If Honda hadn't come along years ago we wouldn't have our Harley's today. Honda & Yamaha brought so many new people into the motorcycle world, they built the motorcycle market. But yet the imports get bashed everyday - I wonder how many guys here went to a Harley Dealer & bought their 1st motorcycle - I'm someone did - I just never met one but they are out there i guess- I know I went off topic but it all ties in together - Please don't bash me - just ad me to your ignor list - thanks - tom
To answer your original question, yes a lot of guys get carried away with the Kury stuff and it is gaudy as all get out.
One piece here and there isn't so bad.
But chrome covers everywhere? Oh my gawd. It's Disneyland for White Trash Crackers.
Some of those Kuryakyn Geezer Glides reminds me of Tammy Faye Baker.
But I live in Texas and I think we invented gaudy for the way people dress.

They sell a lot of their Krap to the Metric Bikes guy's, and it you want a cover for that
open space on the exhaust get H-D part #65694-05 it is all one piece and looks better.
To much chrome will slow you down. a friend gave me a set of Highway mounts, they look like crap, and I plan on giving them back, plus, really dont need them,I am comfortable on my Road glide as it is.
I've had the ISO Grips for about three months, no problems yet. I bought the shield in my sig pic and it seems to hold up fairly well. I know that it could definitely be overdone but I am happy with my products.
When I bought my Dyna, the original owner threw in a Kury Hypercharger that was still in the box. Thank God that there is a sucker born every minute - I was able to unload that thing on ebay for just under $300.

It's more a costume jewelry product, but that just my opinion
I agree with this statement. I have never liked the looks of any of their products... therefore low quality or high quality matters not to me as I don't foresee their parts going on my bike.
