I agree,a lot of the kury stuff is over the top and a bike can be overdone with it.But I couldn't resist their rear bumper LED insert.I bet HD will be coming out with a similar product in the near future.

Agree Kury is 97% junk but will occasionally come out with a nice piece like you have on yours. Your scoot looks killer.
BTW those 4"Rineharts look great on you bike. Is that The S&S power tune header??
Are you pleased with the combo? I am close to buying the same set up would appreciate your thoughts on sound, performance.
Yeah, I have to say, I have put the ISO grips on all my bikes. They are comfortable and big enough that I don't feel like I'm grabbing a pencil...and I ended up with one of their travel bags (of course that's not part of their chrome goodies).... but that's it. The rest of their stuff is pretty much gaudy.... they can keep it.
Many of Kuryakyn and Harley's items are made by the same vendor(s), just in different packaging.
What distinguishes Kuryakyn from Harley is Kuryakyn will stand behind their product...
You can buy a piece of cheap chinese over the top gaudy junk from Kuryakyn and if it goes bad you can take it to them at a rally and show them, and more times than not they will replace it, no questions..
However, buy a Harley part and try to take it back w/out a receipt even to the dealer that knows that you bought it there and see what you get...
Kuryakyn stands behind it's product, does Harley?
That's really the issue, isn't it?
I know that Kuryakyn makes some of the highest quality aftermarket parts on the market.
But is it just me or do many of the parts they made look a bit over the top verging on gaudy ?
I like chrome as much as the next guy and in fact I really don't care much at all for the blacked out look so popular today.
But I think that chrome can be overdone, and styled in such as fashion that it detracts from the original look and design of the bike, especially on a Harley. Many of these Kuryakyn parts would look more at home on a Victory instead of a Harley.
"highest quality" is not how I would describe their parts.
Other than that..... they are the Harbor freight of chrome gizmos..... a few good products mixed in with a lot of cheep crap.
I have heard the same about their chrome crap. But I have nothing for praise for the Full Dresser Bag for a sissy bar touring bag. It is sturdy, well made and very functional. It's got wheels so it works like a roll-on suitcase after you remove it. But I'd stay away from the doodads and chrome crap.
I've had a set of ISO boards and footpegs for over 6 years, and they still look great. The rubber is a bit work from my size 15 boots, but the chrome looks like new.
sorry but I have to dissagree. I feel Kuryakyn makes shiny affordable products for people that do not want to spend the high dollars on quality stuff. They are the furthest from high quality. It's more a costume jewelry product, but that just my opinion
ISO grips and a hypercharger on my (now my Brothers) Heritage for 10+ years with no problems. Got their fishtail exhaust tips on my RKC and no problems with them so far. Your mileage may obviously vary by reading this thread.
