So I bought a solo with backrest from C&C and put it on a 2012 Street Glide. I'm having some mounting issues I think
The seat does not make contact with the frame or even come close. When you initially sit down on the seat you get this loud "pop" and you can feel the seat flexing.
Now I've only put about 10 miles on the seat but every time you hit a decent bump you can hear the "pop" noise.
It also wobbles side to side quite a bit as well.
For anyone with one of these on the 09'+, does yours ride off the frame? Do you get a popping noise?
I've tried spacing the bumpers where the saddlebag guards would be and even removing them completely. Neither made a difference.
