One more question. I was riding about 30 min to check it out. Pulled in for gas noticed the light was on. I must be hot enough to turnfan obeven I motion. Granted it is 90+ in Chicago area. Was just wondering if I'm running hot. Guess next investment oil temp guage.

Fan comes on at 230 deg. Off at 190 deg. You'll go into limp mode after that.....and so what ! Thats what it's there for, besides your synthetic oil is good for 400 + degrees. And your motor can go hotter than that ! Hell, I cook pizza at 450 deg. and it doesn't melt my cheap pizza pan !

If you rode in 90 degree weather for 30 minutes before it came on, your ok. An oil temp guage is good, lets you see where the fan is coming on, and is a good reference point, if you do get one, check the accuracy if it to determine the real temp you are reading.

Good point about the pizza oven. How would you check the Accuracy of the guage.
