So I got the 2012 SG. Sweet bike ever. But for the past week or so, I've come across a few hot RK's. I've seen a few RK classics with ape's. Man, that's a sweet looking ride.
I wonder if Imade the right choice.
I plan on paying my SG off within 3 years. I would love 2 get a 2nd bike. The SG as mytouring bike and a RK as my daily bad *** ride.
Anybody else wonder if they bought the right ride. But then again, there's no such thing as a bad ride with a Harley.
Both are essentially the same bike with one having a fairing, and the other a removable windshield. Styling is different, but not all that much difference in riding technology.
I've rented a SG and an Ultra and own a RK. Each have their merits. I really like both the SG and the Ultra although the SG beat me up pretty good on the highway in it's stock form. The Ultra spoiled me pretty good lol
would be nice to have a RK set up with everything detachable. In a couple mins it could be a streetking, or a windshild bike, a tourer, or a bar hopper...I love my bike but always wonder if it is the best bike for me...truth is that no bike is the best bike for me..i need a touring bike, a show bike, a rat bike, a sporty, a ridgid, a daily rider...u get the point. one for every mood. but thats just me
I was looking for an ultra. Really wanted the ultra. Ended up with a road king. to good of a deal to pass up. Wow I love the king. Never thought I wanted a road king. You never know.
