07 FLHX- Wires on my throttle cable?! any ideas what they do??

Default 07 FLHX- Wires on my throttle cable?! any ideas what they do??
I'm putting new bars on my SG and hill country customs sent me longer throttle cables but the one throttle wire doesnt have any connections like my stock cable. Any ideas if I have to have the throttle cable with the wire connections? Will it trigger my light in the dash? Thanks in advance. Ricky

I tried to upload a photo but cant figure it out!

what kit # did they send you ? Give them a call if you can, they are reasonable people to deal with.

I will definatley give them a call in the morning but just wanted to see what these 2 wires that plug into the throttle cable do. The kit # on the box that everything was in says 46214. thanks, Ricky.

I think it is for heated grips if you have them.

It's down by the frame neck not up on the handlebars. I'm thinking it must be a sensor of some sort. Nothing in my maintence manual about it at all. Guess I'll just give HCC a call in the morning. Thxs.

It's a connection for cruise control. It's a roll off switch. Driving down the road with cruise on, if u roll the throttle cable forward it sends a signal to cruise control module to **** it down.
