My local dealers tech's ( part changers) replaced everything including the throttle body to the twist grip. Before I suggested ( info from these forums) they check between the back of fairing and gas tank. Sure as shiat pinched wires.right where the zip tie was too tight with not enough slack in wires, spliced in a few inches of wire all better.
Glad it was all under warranty.
This is what I think is going on. Or maybe is what I hope is going on. I had a chrome neck cover on and that is about the time my problem started. I finally made the connection and removed the chrome neck cover. I went from having the problem daily to many days/trips w/o it happening even once. But then it started up all over again and again is fairly consistent. I don't think it's a coincidence. I've moved the wires around though. There is no zip tie at all anymore as I removed it when originally adding the chrome neck cover and never replaced it. The is obviously a connection or I couldn't ride, so I can't really test continuity.
