Default Dunlop D402 vs. Pirelli night dragons??

I am real tired of wearing out Dunlop D402's, was looking at the Pirelli night dragons, anyone have experience with these? They claim to be better? Please chime in with what you got.
Im running MU85B16 front and MT90B16 on a 2008 Street Glide

Had them on a Fatboy. They were decent and wore well. I liked them better than the stock tires...

I put Night Dragons on wife's UC very good handling tires very sticky but life of the tire is shorter then any other tire I ever used, but she likes this brand so I have extra in my garage as I always have extra tires just in case. I went thru three 402s on my UC and none lasted me more then 8K miles on rear and now I'm on my 4th rear Elite 3s and these are lasting me over 11K miles each.If handling is important go with Night Dragons other wise Elite 3 is a good choice or a police tire if you ride solo.

I have an 06 EGS. It had stock tires when I bought it. I like the EGS but the handling was awful. In July I put on a set of night dragons. What a huge difference. They greatly improved the ride and handling. I now lean the bike so far over in the turns that the change falls out of my pocket. And 2k miles and still look new. Ride safe.

I've always had good luck with Avon Tires....I know that wasn't one of your choices but just my 2 cents.

the night dragon is a great tire in both wet and dry conditions. i have had several sets on both an 06 road king and 05 night train. i would have them on the 10 UC but they dont make the right tire size and i cant afford it. they are an 8-9000 mile tire tops. i run the 407's and 408's and get 12-16000. they (night dragon) are also the smoothest riding tire i have ever been on on all types of road surfaces. if you could get a couple of thousand extra miles out of them i would jump on them.

I've used Dunlops, Metzler, Avons, and the Night Dragons are by far the best handling and smoothest tire I've run on my Dyna or Roadking.
