rent a boat when you get there,,,or extend the tongue on the trailer,,or if the bow holder is adjustable you might get away with moving it back a little,,,,

What about laying a 2x12x7" diagonally in the bed, with the front of the board dead center in the bed and the back off to one side. Load bike with tailgate on, make the front tire go on top of the crooked board. Strap the front down, then jack up rear tire enough to remove tailgate and slide the board under the rear tire, then you can strap down the back.

ok i am getting 7 ft length but not sure if the front fairing will hit the front corner, also i gave 2.5 feet for the exhaust so that might work. also what i have done with my sports bike is sit the bike down on the kick stand lock the handle bar at full turn and strap down this way and tighten a bit extra on the opposite side as to give some support off the kick stand incase of bouncing may that work ?>

Kind of what I suggested. Either way, it would be wise to attach some type of side barriers to keep the bike on the board. Speaking from experience, the bike and the board CAN separate due to vibrations/bouncing of the truck.

Be careful with transporting with the kickstand down, they've been known to be damaged when hitting a large bump.

so i guess thats my really only option and to possible bolt it down and block the wheels in to prevent slide outs ? screwing down some 2x4s should do the trick i would think i will def be taking pictures and info when and if i do this if it does not work i can always leave the boat down there till my next trip down which wont be for about 7 months and no boat at home does suck.

Good Luck to you. Will you send us a photo once its loaded then send us a photo once it falls out and smashes your boat. Don't you have a friend that can drive the boat back while you ride the scoot?
