Careful on their tranny fluid...it is NOT a rated g4 or G5 fluid and it does not say it will not void your warranty...I checked my bottle and then drained it out of my tranny...My indept. did NOT recommend the tranny fluid, he says it's mainly for racing.
I've used Dino, syn 3, baker, and amsoil. I now have redline in all 3 holes, and for me, it works the best. I use their 20w60 in the engine when it's summer. 80 degrees and above, that really is good stuff... Highly recommend this stuff.... Learned about it through my dealer. They carry it in the back, not on the front shelves.. They recommend it....
Been using shockproof in HD trans since the 70's and never had a problem.
As long as your using a quality oil and doing regular oil changes anything will work in your motor. But I have a hard time believing that someone said he noticed no difference going from Syn3 to Redline in his trans.
Any long time HD riders remember when HD said to never use synthetic oil.
Of Course HD didn't have any with the HD logo on it..............LOL
tranny shifts are smoother and way less clunch on the shift. redline sells a complete kit for harleys. It has all the oils you need a funnel, cap and some stickers look on their website for it and a dealer near you.
Red line in the transmission after first failure since then over 50K miles runs good and little quieter it was recommended by Harley mechanic who also rides.

Maybe you're referring to me but I switched from Mobil 1 70-140 gear oil (not Syn3) to Redline in the transmission twice and cannot see any difference other than the color, and stench when you change it. No difference in performance, noise, shifting, finding neutral, etc. Maybe I just have a good transmission.
redline with shock proof in the trans is great.. much thicker and quieter.
Now here comes the posts... I have more valve noise with the 20-50 redline than with mobil 1 vtwin 20-50.. Also the redline primary-chaincase fluid tends to make my clutch slip some (rivera primo w/tpp)
so I'll stick with the redline trans fluid but will go back to mobile 1 for engine and primary..
You can get multi packs of redline pretty cheap on amazon..
