Doesnt that seem like a great price for an 09 /103/6spd/abs ?
I had searched hi and low and bought an 07 with 32k on it for 10,5$
I would have definitely looked closely at this when I was shopping.
Granted it isnt mint and has some scuffs and dings, but if the drive train is good and strong and was well maintained as many police bikes are this could be a good deal for someone.
If I lived near it in Texas I would go have a closer look.
I bought mine as a platform and plan on making a lot of changes to it for my needs so the little things dont bother me as it will get painted when I am done with mods anyway.
People seem to have mixed feelings about the 09's and later with the new chassis but if it was a pre requisite for me on a used bike this one might fit the bill for the price.
09 and later baggers are the way to go! I'd buy it because I don"t leave anything stock anyways. You get a great frame, wiring and electronics. Good luck
Thats exactly why I bought mine, the foundation, I plan to change about everything on it except the motor, frame and tranny, electrical, etc..
I like the 9 spoke police wheels but I am thinking of raking the front end some and adding a 26" front wheel.
Anyway I am glad I am not the only one to think that way.
I posted this because I thought it was a great price, I already bought but mine was 1k$ less and an 07, this is an 09, when I was still thinking I wanted an 09 or newer I would have jumped on this, now I think I am going to stick with my 07 until something major changes.
Lump
I think the price is to high myself---------a lot of these bikes are maintained by dealers and it isn't the best especially if they are on a lease. There were 2 for sale in dallas with around 10k miles earlier this summer for 10,500 .they had never been cop bikes but used for escort
