I am interested in the Klockwerks 6.5 flare for my 07 SG. I just recently had 16" apes installed. Anyone have a similar set up and will there be any clearance issues?

Should be no problem. I had the 6.5 on my Classic and there were no issues. Didn't have apes, but I know of no reason that apes would be an issue.
If you have a 660 Zumo that is fairing mounted, the windshield will not fit.
you won't have any problem. I have Yaffe's 12" with the 6.5" dark smoke and it looks great. if you have after market hand controls then you may consider pulling the handlebar a half inch to the back.
Cool the reason is the 16" cyclesmiths stick up over the stock shield considerably. Plus I thought I read a thread about someone saying that they had to trim the klockwerks...I am not interested in butchering anything to make it fit lol...thanks for the reply
It fit however the sheild is snug against the bars. The bars are straight up and down if looking from the side. (Probably 1" away from the inner fairing. So far I really like the Klockwerks 6.5" Looks sweet too!!!
Klockwerks won't work with 14" Yaffe's unless u pull the bars back. Don't ask me how I know.
That sucks because the shield is pretty awesome. I was concerned about it fitting with the 16" cyclesmiths but I guess it worked out. Plus apes look like S**t when they are pulled back towards the rider too far.
I have the 6.5" KW on mine with Wild 1 576's. They are 14" but taller than some others that claim 16". I had to trim a pretty good chunk out of each side of the KW windshield but I push my bars as far forward as they will go without hitting the inner fairing. I used a carbide burr on a die grinder..... No big deal. Windshield still works like it's supposed to, still looks great.
